ETHANOL PLANT OPERATOR

NATURE OF WORK:

Under general supervision, performs work of routine ethanol production operations and performs related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Monitors computer systems for safe and efficient operation.

• Keeps records.

· Performs sampling activities and conducts laboratory test procedures as required by the QA program and procedures.

· Communicates with Laboratory Supervisor to ensure effective participation in the

implementation of QA policies and procedures.

• Operates equipment, including forklifts and scissors lift.

· Monitors use and inventories of process chemicals and supplies.

• May assist with system installation, inspection and repair.

• Maintains equipment.

• Deals with system breakdowns and emergencies

• Participates in programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness.

• Participates in safety, health and environmental programs

• Works in a safe manner at all times.

• Performs related tasks as requested by management.
